As much as I love summertime, after a couple months of it, I am once again ready for that crisp fall weather. I mean sure, we don't get distinctive seasons the way others do, but there is definitely something wonderful about the months leading up to winter. First of all, when you live in a place like San Diego, you don't have to worry about putting on 50 layers of clothes to go outside at night, but it's still cool enough to enjoy a pumpkin spice latte or some warm apple cider. Second of all, we can go east just a little and we are greeted with pine trees and warm apple pie. Last, and most importantly, we will always have the beach. So in a couple weeks I will say goodbye to otter pops and bright colored nail polish, and hello to jackets and scarves that are still to warm to wear in my town. Most of all though, I will say hello to a photographers favorite time of year; the season where the clouds allow us to get decent lighting any time of day. It's fall soon, and I am feeling so inspired! Here's a shot I took not too long ago that reminded me how excited I am that fall is on it's way!
