Sayonara it's Saturday

I know what you're thinking. Eh another blog to follow and it couldn't possibly be that interesting. Well I have news for you, you're right! That is if you are a Debbie or Donnie downer who takes no pleasure in a little something easy on the eyes (not me you pervert, my photos!). I have been himming and hawwing about starting a blog for a while, and well I've made up my mind, so you're just gonna have to follow it :) I promise I will try not to bore you to death and hopefully give you some inspiration in day to day life. I haven't exactly planned out any of this, so you'll have to wait and see what lies ahead. As for today, it is officially Saturday and time to say sayonara to anything you want to leave behind from the week. I know what you naysayers are thinking: "mehh I don't have Saturday off like the rest of the world". Well my answer is: Sorry! No but for real, it's okay you can still read this.

I got to thinking today about what my next step is in photography; oh yeah, this is a photo blog by the way ;) and all I could think about was my intense desire and undying need to travel. It consumes me and makes me feel ill when I haven't done something spectacular in a while. Alas my inspiration to start this blog. After contemplating all of the places I could go, I came to the conclusion that I am going to have to travel in my own backyard for a while. As much as I would love to take a tour through the world to satisfy my addiction to nature, I'll be right here in San Diego(at least for the next few months). So like I said, it's Saturday; a perfect time to say goodbye to the work week, and hello to whatever it is that makes you smile. Oh and just in case you plan on staying indoors this weekend, here's a little something to try and change your mind.

Just so you know I literally ran to the cliff for this because I was rushing to catch the sunset. In my chaotic quest to make it on time, I made a technical mistake in camera that I thought ruined this. After looking again, I thought wow, San Diego really is that beautiful! This was straight from the camera, no Photoshop. You can see why I was rushing, because I could tell the clouds were going to make for a colorful sunset that evening!
This is straight out of the camera, no photoshop. San Diego is just that pretty :)
