So last night I was scrolling through some vacation photos from exactly a year ago. Then I realized, wait a minute, it's been a year!! That is just asinine and unacceptable, since my goal was to take a trip every three months(even for a couple days). The road trip urge had come over me once again. I know, I know, I just got done saying that I would stay put for a while, but It's only a short 8 hour drive to Carmel...why not right? Looking through all the places we went, just made me want to go back. Valley of Fire, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Tahoe, San Francisco, Carmel, Monterey, and Big Sur. I know that Tahoe is out of the question, because I will just end up staring at the Planet Moolah slot like a zombie all night, hoping for a screen full of wilds. Yes, true story. Anyway, Utah is out too because three days is just not enough time, and well three days is my max for this. So that just leaves the wonderful California coast. Oh the fresh air, the fall leaves along the river, and the pure relaxation of a quaint cabin. Sure I could galavant around San Diego, but I can do that any time. Plus, we don't have the same type of scenery. It's different okay, just trust me. Also, the best part of a road trip is all the other places you go through. I have to go to Santa Barbara anyways for an upcoming photo project I have in mind. So there it's settled, I have convinced myself. Also this little birdie told me to do it see:

He is obviously looking at me wondering why I wouldn't just go! I can tell that he's thinking gosh if I wasn't stuck in this damn aquarium, I would go!

Okay anyways, enough of my ranting. The bottom line is sometimes you just have to do it. I promise after this I will just satisfy my photographic needs here in San Diego. Until next time, here are some pics from last years trip so you can see why I am chomping at the bit to get out of dodge!
